Ghvardzelashvili’s Marani produces natural, unfiltered, traditional Georgian kvevri wine without the use of sulphites. This wine is produced from a blend of Rkatsiteli, Mtsvane & Buera grape varieties. It is grown in Kakheti, Tsinandali region, in the village of Kondoli where only the use of copper is used to spray the vines. It is produced very traditionally using a satsnakheli to crush the grapes and it is fermented and set in kvevris buried underground. Ghvardzelashvili’s Gua is produed in very limited quantites.
